KAILASH & MANAS SAROVAR YATRA
Kailash Manasarovar Yatra 2026 – Ex Kathmandu
The Kailash Manasarovar Yatra is one of the most sacred and spiritually significant pilgrimages in the world. Revered by Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and followers of Bon religion, Mount Kailash is believed to be the divine abode of Lord Shiva and Goddess Shakti, while Lake Manasarovar symbolizes purity, peace, and spiritual awakening. Undertaking this holy Yatra is believed to cleanse past karma, absolve sins of many lifetimes, and grant ultimate inner peace.
Special Significance of 2026 – Fire Horse Year
The year 2026 marks the rare and highly auspicious Fire Horse Year, beginning around 15–17 February 2026. This celestial alignment occurs only once every 60 years and is considered to possess intensified spiritual energy. Scriptures believe that performing one Kailash Parikrama during a Fire Horse year is equivalent to completing 13 Coras, making this Yatra extraordinarily powerful and rare.
Spiritual Importance of the Yatra
Pilgrims perform:
-
Parikrama of Lake Manasarovar by coach
-
Parikrama (Kora) of Mount Kailash on foot
According to Hindu beliefs:
-
A ritual bath in Manasarovar grants entry to Brahma’s paradise
-
Drinking its holy water washes away sins of a hundred lifetimes
-
One circumambulation of Mount Kailash erases the sins of an entire lifetime
This sacred journey is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for devotees longing to experience the divine presence at the “Home of the Gods.”
